IMPORTANT: Installing the Rider’s Claw™ on your Honda Gold Wing® is the same as noted in the Assembly Instructions for the Harley Davidson®, however running the auxiliary cable from your iPod® to your radio source can be a bit tricky if you are not familiar with or comfortable with gaining clean access to it. We would recommend that you consult your local Honda Gold Wing® service department or purchase your Rider’s Claw from one of our Gold Wing dealers listed below who can answer any installation questions you might have.

Why don't we sell a Rider's Claw for iPod® Classic?
The iPod® Nano and iTouch® are the only Apple® portable music devices that are “flash drive” systems. The flash drive is a digital drive system with no moving parts inside. These systems can withstand the handle bar vibration associated with riding a motorcycle.
All of the latest mega-gigabyte iPods® (iPod® Classic) are “hard drive” systems, with moving parts inside. These moving parts tend to stop moving and freeze up when exposed to anything aggressive (dropping it, mounting it on a motorcycle, etc…). It is for this reason, we do not manufacture a Rider’s Claw for these “hard drive” systems. |
